07.02.2005 - Blizzard is searching for a “game designer” for the team that already was responsible for Diablo and Diablo 2. Blizzard also offers a new job to a “3D character-artist” who should already have experience with role play games. Diablo 3 in 3D? This image is not absurd because Warcraft III : The Frozen Throne or World of Warcraft are already using a convincing 3D graphic.

17.05.2005 - At the E3 in Los Angeles Blizzard should announce a new Game which raised the hopes of Diablo fans it could be the third part of the hack and slay masterpiece. But in the end it was only a presentation of Starcraft: Ghost. Questions concerning Diablo 3 were left open.

24.04.2005 - Diabloii.net received a mail in which a Czech musician claimed to have recorded music for Diablo 3 together with a symphony orchestra in Bratislava. Already the music for Diablo 2 has been recorded there an 4 month later it was released.

Media and fans, both are looking forward to play Blizzard games, take part at tournaments and chat with developers. The Blizzcon is probably one of the best places for new announcements. But Blizzard missed the chance to announce Diablo 3.

20.08.2007 - Similar to the latest BlizzCon, the rumor mill is doing its best job on this year’s Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany. Many people were predicting an announcement for the sequel of Diablo on GC. But if this was either based on wishful thinking or not can be revealed in the next few days. In favor of Leipzig as a Location of announcement would be the large, European fanbase. Against, that Starcraft 2 has already been announced as an important title.

I know this seems a bit far off but I have gotten word from a good source that D3 will be made and is planning on being released Winter 2009.

You kill off the last 2 “lords” of destruction in the expansion… who’s left??
Actually, it would be very easy to make a another. First of all, they never showed the destruction of Baal’s soulstone. Second of all, the destruction the worldstone opens the door for all kinds of possibilities… For all we know, the worldstone being destroyed could have released all three of them again, or even unleash a new Demon lord… Bottom line is, there could be all kinds of reason’s for a sequel. Not to mention the fact that that one representative did say they actually want to return to the world some time… Besides, what the HELL are they going to do after Starcraft 2?
Something else that I’ve heard, (although I’m not sure I believe it, because I think it would not be possible to have gotten that far without a hell of a lot of people knowing) is that it was already made, completed and everything, but Blizzard didn’t release it because it would have cut too much into their WoW profits.

If anyone here paid attention, there were 7 evils, Andy, Duri, Mephy, Diablo, Baal, Belial and Admozan. Also, when the worldstone was destroyed, it opened a portal between hell and earth causing all the demons and powers of the actual hell to attack, not the hell in lvl 13-16 D1 or Act 4 D2, actual HELL. The whole world is prolly destroyed, and it like empty, kinda like I am legend. And demons are all over earth, fighting the angels.

Dude, right, D3 will PWN, its just a matta of time b4 they release it. WoW sucks, because its way tooo fantasy. I want something with a little more design and realisticicity.
WoW is too bulky, puffy, and colorful. Now it beats D2 at the 2-d 3-d ratio, but in design and graphics, D2 pwns.
Some ppl dont even kno what graphics are. They aren’t how cool the game looks, or if its 3-d, they are how detailed, and how realistic- shaped the players are.
In D3 im hopin for a damage system makin it so if u get hit in the leg, ur guy limps a little before he gets healed, and a chance of an attack hitting ur leg or head or chest.
Also, when a monster dies, I dont want it to be like, the same everytime a monster dies, like zombies ALWAYS have their head fall off, or have the top half of their body fall off, I wish their leg would break, or their face get beaten in. And when ur on single player, I want some cheats, like to get guns, or cool items, or sumthing, so when my internet goes down or something, Im not totally bored on single player. And thats all I gotta say.
ok guys listen there is a possibility of diablo 3 comeing back there is a bunch of reasons why and why not now if you were a diablo fan you want it to come back no matter what like me but u must agree that it had its stuff tht went wrong like the rigged runewords dual ebotd,fort build ect… max def 12k dmg but this is why is possibily is comeing back if u have played wc3 rts and wc3 ft WoW follow the story along with it unless they make a new expansion going into space wow is gunna end and in D2 Lod when u talk to tyreal or what ever his name is after u beat baal he says destroying the worldstone bring good things to this world and bad that there wil be more evil in the world k theres a thing also! where did tyreal come from? now ive heard that d3 is secret that it cold come out in 09 or 2012 and blizz is trying to get the hype up so it breaks the D2 record bottom line what are they gunna do after Wrath of Lich King Comes out to make money? what 4th wow expansions woohooo 40 gigs wasted blizz knows how to keep secrets they’ve shown tht in the past yall think on tht
