the leveling rates should be kinda faster so players could make it to really high levels like 200 and so on max should be like 250 then too
you should be able to import your characters from diablo 2!

No, leveling rates should be twice as slow. maybe even 3 or 4 times as slow. Would make the game a. longer, b. more challenging, c. more fair.
i dont know if this would be possible but it would be nice: there were definitely moments in D2 where i totally screwed up my character and you could undo points in certain skills or stats to an extent to correct some mistakes…again this sounds great, but might tweak the game too much
the guy above said like a skill point return item, so why not have pretty rare tomes of retraining like from Warcraft? a blending of the two worlds would be really fun! Plus you added the “other wirts leg” item in the World Editor, so why the heck not?
Actually making levelling rates slow would make the game unbalanced, because people who play all day would get a better advantage and you wouldn’t be able to catch up. I think there should be no max level, but experience you needed would get exponentially more so it would be virtually impossible to get past a certain level or two
There should be more levels and you should be able to change your skill points in the towns like in guild wars. That way if you want to change you can.
For the quests in the game, there should be an arow pointing to the quest objective. But make the quests harder and longer and there should be 2 to 3 times more quests.
ok if you are a d2 fan you would agree with me no matter what 1.d2 is best game ever 2. d2 s famous for panned out cam so keep it orignal 3.same leveling as in last 4. more rewards for rushing ect like in normal if u dident have a friend you couldnent get rushed so make an option to be rushed and depends how fast u rushed for item value 5.importing old chars in along with skills
i think d2 is the best game but i really dont think you should be rewarded for rushing i dont hink they should let you rush because it takes away the fun out of the game/ i mean like working together is good but not having a level 80 come and take you from act 1 on normal to act 5 on hell
also i think they should make the rooms bigger make it able to hold 16 chars instead of 8
D2 Gameplay PWNS,
Don’t make any retraining for skills or stats in battlenet ladder mode, OK for single player mode.
It’ll be kinda cheat, like backup your .d2s hardcore player, dies, overwrite the file, play again, so what’s HARDCORE about it…
also applies to add socket, backup your .d2s, add socket, you got 1 socket, overwrite, add socket, you got 2 sockets, overwrite, add socket, finally you got 3 sockets.
retraining will be as shameful as those above which is single player only…
Imagine a ladder character, wrongbuilt, retrain, how shameful…
i think it would be really gay if you could import your d2 characters in d3. that would just ruin everthing. i think we should just all start out from the beginning so we can see whats from first to last of the whole game instead of having your 90 char starting off from the middle of thte game. this way we could all be equal when it first comes out.
also dont be able to buy items on the internet in this 1
I hope that some of the initiatives in wow are used on D3, such as Gold being a tradable currency, an Auction House, an in-game mail system to post items to your mules, or shared stash across your account, the guild system also. So many hours wasted in D2 trying to trade apples for pears……
I’m a supporter of anything that makes survival more of a challenge. Challenging=fun. I’d prefer slower leveling, fewer magic items, more powerful monsters.
I also don’t like skill redistribution - having a character perfectly spec’d out at all times is boring. Imperfections make characters more real, and again add a little challenge/fun.
