Here you can post all your thoughts, imaginations and wishes concerning the mercs in Diablo 3
animals you can raise to fight alongside
I personally would like a black panther
i would like to have a necro fight by me & be able to use his skill tree to so if you do have a merc. with you it can make up for something you lack
i agree with kevin
i think you should be able to have mercs that actual classes and be able to equip them with more than just armor, weapon, and helm. also i think you should be able to have more than one, with say a maximum of like 5 but you have to pay them every month or something along with paying to resurrect them, that would also help with the problem of gold being pretty much useless in d2. u should also have skill trees with mercs so u can make your mercs your own
I agree with both Kevin and aaron that mercs should be able to have a skill tree, be able to have more equip and you should be able to have more than one.
I agree, it would be a waste if that gold is not spent
i would like a pvp merc u know one that doesnt die so fast ina duel maybe add blocking abilty and a skill tree and a control over his stats.I just had a great idea the choice to leave merc inside camp.
Oh, I almost forgot. Add some damn good AI to it. I don’t want to see 3/4 of the units attacking me just charge me, while when I hit the other 1/4 they run away. Diablo II’s AI was too simple and I think upgrading it would be a huge improvement. Same with mercenaries. I want them to use more than just a handful of skills. It would be neat to have an assassin hire with shadow master etc. It would be nice to have an effective 4 units under your control. Also if we could have a key to press to command the hire to explore a certain area or stay in an area to defend, that would be nice.
For mercenaries, no skill tree, and only one guy. Good for everyone.
-Leave your merc in town if you choose
-Send merc to town for potions and other items
-The ability to cast magic on your merc, (like bone shield)
I like the id of pokemon.
Weak a monster catch monsters, tahn train them an later youse them in batle to fight against you
I mean they will fight on your side
they should have a few skill choises (2-5 patterns) and you shuld be able to have maby 2 or 3 mercs max, plus if you customize there items more freely. like the barb shoulda been able to duel wield, and the rogues should have been able to crossbow, etc…
i think if they let you have the freedon of making a skill tree and more then just helmet armor and weapon then you should have only 1 merc
if you had a merc on max level and skills max and if u had more then 1 then u would be godly…/ unless they made the monsters exteremly hard
but i do also think that the merc’s should be able to dual wield like the char they are sopossed to be like
somthing to do with horses or other mounts, to make mf possible without tele
DONT LET US BE ABLE TO BUY ITEMS ON THE INTERNET. that ruins everything
Shane, as long as there is trading in-game, there will always be a way to purchase items/accounts over the internet. Just face it. Lol
id like some more colorful mercs and some diff merc classes that accomplish certain things and maybe have a few u could change in and out in the town kinda like Knights of the Old Republic
