In this screenshot section there are various ingame images of the new hack ‘n slay adventure from Blizzard.
These first screenshots clearly show us how drastic the graphical changes are between Diablo 2 and Diablo 3.

Instead of an isometric 2D view, players will experience the world of Sanctuary in an isometric 3D view and all the lansdscapes and effects seem to be more colorful, than the dark and gloomy atmosphere of the forerunners of Diablo 3.

Some people also say, that this new style is too much “comic-oriented” and compare the new game with Blizzard’s World of Warcraft.
Whether this is true or not, has everyone to decide on his / her own.
Still there’s no accounting for taste.

Beside some images of the two new, but well known, character classes, the barbarian and the witchdoctor, we can also have a deeper look at some of the future monster classes.
